Company

A filter between the producer and the shelf

PEREKO Group Kft. is a Hungarian wholesaler of prepacked food. We buy on our own account, hold our own stock and invoice under our own name, so we are a distributor rather than an agent. We are a small company, which is exactly why we can be selective. We read specifications, we taste, and we only list what we would buy ourselves.

Selection

We look for European producers who work with honest raw materials. Every product goes through the producer's own specification before we list it.

Import

We handle purchasing, freight and the administration of placing the product on the Hungarian market, including Hungarian labelling and regulatory compliance.

Distribution

We supply retailers, online grocers and health food shops. One contact person from order to delivery, and a short decision path.

Four things we check on every product

This is the filter that decides whether a product enters our range. If yours passes it, we should talk.

No preservatives

We do not distribute products whose shelf life is kept alive by additives.

Short ingredient list

If we cannot explain an ingredient to a shopper, we do not need it.

Real raw material

Fruit, seeds, oats, nuts. The ingredient itself instead of flavouring and fillers.

European production

A traceable plant, a full specification, predictable quality and delivery.

The Beginnings

Hungarian distributor Lithuania

A Lithuanian producer working with slowly dried fruit, seeds and oats. The RAW products are not baked, only dried at low temperature, so the taste of the raw material survives to the end. The whole range is vegan and most products are gluten free.

Almond cookies

Soft baked cookies made with almond flour, free from dairy and eggs. Cocoa, orange, cranberry, gingerbread and pecan.

Oat based cookies in lemon, caramel, strawberry and protein versions, plus a slowly dried RAW version.

Fruit bars, protein bars, chocolate coated bars and flapjack oat bars. Built for the checkout and impulse zone.

Savoury seed crackers

Flax, sunflower and pumpkin seed crackers, plus crispbread. For the savoury shelf, next to cheese and dips.

RAW vegetable chips

Beetroot, kale and sweet potato, slowly dried. Not fried, so not greasy, and the vegetable stays the main flavour.
